How you start your day determines how your whole day will turn out, as well as how you will deliver and attract all the abundance to you. Before meeting with the team or prepping the kids’ school lunch, do the following:
1. Be grateful.
As soon as you open your eyes, think of at least three things that you are grateful of. Being thankful of what you have puts you instantly in a peaceful and positive state and prepares you to receive more blessings. When you start your day doing this, you will attract more positivity, and fortunate events will happen to you. It may be closing that sale you are working on for weeks or getting invited by a business prospect. Whatever it is, it will surely come to you when you start the day with a grateful heart.
2. Visualize how your day will turn out.
Visualization will help your subconscious guide you in the right direction toward achieving your goals for the day. It will help you plan what you want to happen, steer you away from distraction, and let you say yes to opportunities. Remember too that what you envision becomes real.
3. Listen to music.
Music, certainly, has the power to create and shift a mood. When you get up and prepare yourself to roll, turn on some beautiful music, the one that lifts your spirit and gives you pleasant vibes. Feel how it wonderfully transforms your sleepy head to a refreshed mind. Have a morning soundtrack while you’re in the shower or doing other chores and see how it can make your whole day sweeter.
4. Get your body moving.
By doing a simple exercise in the morning, you allow your body to have more energy throughout the day. As endorphins or happy hormones get pumped into your body, they give you a “euphoric” feeling and let you be more productive, more creative, and less affected by stressful events in your day. Do some simple yoga postures or a quick run and get your body ready for the day.
5. Relax for the first few moments.
Enjoy and do things that make you happy during the first hour. Make this your me-time. Read a chapter of a book, jot down business ideas, or pin life goal photos on your board. This will guarantee you a healthy, happy state of being, prepare you to take on any challenges, and enable you to give more of yourself to your family, business, and craft.
By taking care of yourself first thing in the morning, you allow yourself to have a positive energy in you, to refresh and be ready to give more of yourself to the things you need to tend to.
